I love wedding planning season which is late January through February in Oklahoma. Oklahoma wedding venues take advantage of the slower wedding season to bring couples into their venues. Also, Christmas, New Years, and Valentine’s Day are popular occasions for engagements. So as long as you’re willing to brave the weather, you can score some delicious cake and app samples and tour some amazing locations. This year I had the honor to be a part of the Vinterra Open House in Bixby, OK. Interacting with people and taking some fun photos is pretty much the whole photo booth thing. I’m totally in my element.
I’m sure couples have seen photo booths at other events, parties, or friend’s weddings but there’s actually many nuances and details that are worth thinking about. I enjoy the opportunity to share my experience and give my two cents regarding wedding planning. Renting a photo booth for your wedding reception is an easy way to add entertainment which may be needed if you’re away taking newlywed portraits during cocktail hour. It’s a great ice breaker and encourages guests to mingle and interact. Plus it captures lasting memories. There’s always those guests that avoid the wedding photographer’s gaze but for some reason I see those same people succumb to pressure and jump in the photo booth. Not all photo booths print but ours does! This is important because it doubles as a wedding favor. If you’re not sure what to give guests, renting a photo booth is truly enough.
